A lake house in Mesa
Yes, Mesa has lakes. Here's the area around ours, and how close everything is.
Mesa is the East Valley's biggest city, and most visitors don't expect it to have lakefront homes. It does. H2O Sanctuary sits on Laguna Lake in Dobson Ranch, in west Mesa, with a pool and spa facing the water and kayaks and paddleboards ready at the shore. Bring a rod, too: fishing is allowed on the lake.
About Dobson Ranch
Dobson Ranch is a planned community built from the 1970s through the 1990s on a former cattle ranch. It's known for its seven man-made lakes, which are still filled using the ranch's original water rights, plus rec centers, pools and an 18-hole golf course. It sits between the US-60 and the Loop 101, which is why the airport, Tempe and Scottsdale are all close.
